Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on Mare Creek at Stanville.  The fire had been extinguished with a garden hose upon the FD's arrival.

Firefighters responded to a call of an injury accident at the mouth of Ted Stumbo Drive at Harold across from the Double Kwik.  A driver had veered off the roadway, his vehicle jumped into the air, and it collided with the branches of a nearby tree before coming to rest just off the side of U.S. 23 North.

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm (which turned out to be false) on Kenis & Martha Road in the Honaker community.

Firefighters were dispatched to an injury accident on U.S. 23 North at Stanville near Joe's Car Wash in which a driver had left the roadway and collided with a guardrail causing severe property damage.

Firefighters were dispatched to a single-vehicle non-injury accident at the mouth of Yates Street in the Honaker community.  Upon arrival, it was observed that a vehicle had left the roadway and overturned into the creek however the driver and another occupant had fled the scene.

All too many times, our department was once again paged out to an auto accident on KY 2030 on the Frog Branch Curve at 11:42pm.  Upon arrival, it was observed that a female subject driving a passenger car had been traveling out of KY 2030 toward Harold when she lost control of her vehicle in the steep curve causing it to leave the roadway and overturned in a nearby bottom.  There were no entrapment and she was not injured.  8 Betsy Layne firefighters and Unit 3 responded to t...

While en route to a fire alarm on Conn Street, firefighters rolled up on a two-vehicle injury accident at the mouth of Mare Creek at Stanville.

Residential fire alarm at Conn Street was unfounded.
